The "Corte" of Arzaga, defended by the near Drugolo's Castle, dates back to the Roman period when big villas were erected here and life flew in a lovely way and fortresses were erected to keep the belligerent Celts at bay.
Late in the Middle age the court and the castle were brought to life again under the Republic of Venice. At the end of the XVIII century they have been separated and then, they have been ruled by different peoples for many years.
In 1963 the Corte di Arzaga and the Drugolo's Castle were purchased by the Lanni della Quara's family, they were so joint again under a unique estate.
Today the noble house is your 5*, surrounded by 150 hectares of green fields, courted by the Leading Small Hotels of the World, that has inserted it as one of its most exclusive buildings and by the Italian government, that has proclaimed it National monument.
