The Court of Arzaga, defended by nearby Drugolo Castle, dates back to the Roman period when substantial villas were erected and life flowed nicely and fortresses were erected to hold off the belligerent Celts.
Late in the Middle Age the Court and the castle were brought to life again under the Republic of Venice. At the end of the XVIII Century they were separated and since then they were ruled by different peoples for many years.
In 1963 the Court of Arzaga and Drugolo Castle were acquired by the Lanni della Quara family when they were brought together again under a unique estate. Today the ancient country mansion is your 5-star hotel, surrounded by 150 hectares of green fields.
